Roma..Rome...Rzym

I've just come to Rome and may say I don't act like a typical foreigner here. I didn't spend my first day looking for the way to Coloseum or St. Paul's Cathedral. Anyway, I get to know building of Economics Faculty at Roma Tre University quite well. And it's neighbourhood, too. I haven't seen Rome from them movies but rather city where people do the things that citizens do in all of the cities in the world - just typical, normal day. And I like it.

On Tuesday, after my plan landed, I met with Chiara Serena and Alberto that I'm going to work with. Together went for pasta trying to find a place I'm staying before. Wasn't easy but finally we managed this. I mean I was just supporting them having no idea where we were and where should b exactly. The most exciting in that evening was going by motorbike to my flat, however. Thank to brave Albe who wasn't afraid to take me (it was my first time, so I could behave like crazy) I went back home.

Yesterday I met with people from my committee as well as guys from Roma Sapienza and girls organising International President Meeting in Rome next year. After all the things we had to do we went together for "aperitif." ;) Starting conversation from embarrassing moment in our lives we get through International Congress that had place in Brazil few weeks ago. It was wonderful to listen to them drinking beer from Belgium in the one of thousands Romanian cafes.

To sum up, I'm having enjoy and know I will have a great here in the city of 7 hills.
